HOW TO APPLY & REMOVE

[How To Apply]

Step 1: Prep Your Nails

Begin with clean, dry nails and push back your cuticles. Lightly buff your nails to create a smooth surface if needed. Then, use the included prep pad to eliminate any oils or residue.

Step 2: Choose Your Size

Select the gel nail strip that best fits each nail. If in doubt, choose the smaller size to avoid overlapping onto the skin or cuticles.

Step 3: Apply the Strips

Peel off the backing and carefully place the gel strip on the nail, starting from the cuticle line. Smooth it out towards the tip and press down firmly to ensure it was properly applied.

*Tip to stretch nail strips: Use your palm to warm them up. Once the strips are warmed, they can be easily pulled for the perfect fit on your nails. Attach the nail strip along one side of the nail, and then stretch it to fit the other side of the nail. If you pull the nail strip with both hands, the adhesive may weaken, or the gel nail may stretch excessively, ruining the design.

Step 4: Trim

Use cuticle scissors or nail clippers to trim excess gel strips.

Step 5: Cure

The strips cure instantly under the light, but for optimal results and longevity, expose them to sunlight for a few minutes. Once cured, shape the nail strip to your desired shape with a nail file.

*Tip 1: No natural sunlight? No worries. Cure it under UV/LED lamp just for 5 seconds!

* Tip 2: File downwards to achieve the perfect shape.

Step 6: Store

Store unused strips in the pouch to protect them from sunlight.

[How To Remove]

Step 1: Peel Off

Apply a few drops of “Got To Go Remover” on the cuticle line strip and let it soak in to help lift it. Then, using the provided wooden stick, gently peel the gel strip off from the edge towards the center of the nail.

Step 2: Clean & Nourish Your Nails

Wash your hands and hydrate your nails with cuticle oil or a nourishing nail cream.

    So cute!

    I can't stop looking at my nails. It lasted 14 days with no problem when applied correctly without bubbles. The one nail with edges not too well-sealed started snagging my hair after 3 days so I just replaced that one and it's been great! Make sure to apply it correctly! it has 2 full sheets so will buy another and mix and match!

    Pretty design

    This is only my second time applying these to my hands. I definitely like the designs from this company, they look well done and are a very good alternative to getting Korean-inspired nail designs done at the salon. For this one in particular, note that you'd need longer nails for the design to look good, otherwise the red portion won't be centered.

    That being said, application isn't that easy and I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get as accurate and fast as I'd like to even with practice. I did purchase both the LED lamp and top coat as well. I have trouble making sure the lay completely flat on my nail with no lifting. Trimming them isn't as easy as the video's make it seem, they're not that easy to file off and I tend to clip off the end so that it's a little more clean. I've only had these on for a week and I do already feel my hair getting caught in them. Using their remover is easy and they did pretty much pop right off.

    On a whole, it's way less expensive than me going to the salon for beautiful nail designs. I can't complain too much because I'd be paying 5-10 times the price for some of these nail designs to be done well in a salon and the whole point of me trying these was to save some money.

    I do love using them on my toes though, I wish they had more sizes because it's really hard to trim them to fit the nail bed.

How to apply

  1. Clean your nails with alcohol wipes to remove oils and residue. Push back your cuticles and file your nails to the desired shape.
  2. Choose the gel strip that fits each nail best. If you're between sizes, opt for the smaller one to prevent overlap onto your skin or cuticles. Gently stretch the gel strip to better fit your nail.
  3. Apply the gel strip and press firmly for durable wear.
  4. Trim the excess gel strip with nail clippers or cuticle scissors.
  5. Cure under direct sunlight for a few minutes, and file the tips for a smooth finish. Voilà!

How to remove

  1. Apply 1 to 2 drops of Heyhae’s Got to Go Remover and gently peel off the gel strip starting from the cuticle edge with the wooden stick.
  2. After removal, wash your hands and apply a nourishing nail oil or cream to hydrate and protect your nails and cuticles.

A top gel coat, which will need LED light curing, is recommended for a smooth, glossy finish to bring out the vibrant colors.

Heyhae gel nails can be applied to natural nails and extended nails.
