Steps To Achieve a 3D Effect Using Builder Gel

I’m sure you and I both have noticed the rage over 3D nails these days. 3D nails are so diverse, they can be used to enhance the chrome effect as well as 3D seashells and fruits for summery nails. For those who have been to nail salons with 3D inspo, we are living witnesses of how detailed and intricate the process is. For all you aspiring nail technicians or those who love doing DIY nails, we came up with a guide to 3D designs!

Step 1. Preparation Material:

Builder Gel (alternative: top gel of thick consistency)
Top Gel (regular~runny consistency)
Fine Line Nail Art Brushes

Step 2. Prepping Your Nails

The steps below help to increase the longevity of the nails and avoid lifting

Shape your nails
Push back your cuticles
Buff nails (helps nails adhesive)
Cleanse & dehydrate (using alcohol wipes)

Step 3. Apply Base Gel

Apply base gel
Cure

Step 4. 3D art

Use a nail brush to pick up a small amount of builder gel
Create your 3D design!
Cure the nail
Apply top gel
Cure the nail one last time.
DONE!
